Claire McCaslin-Brown
Claire is an art consultant, curator, writer, and marketing entrepreneur working with international contemporary artists, galleries and collectors from across the globe as well as closer to home. Established in 2016, Claire started her art consultancy in London with the aim of assisting art collectors, investors and those new to buying art acquire the art they love.
She helps individuals create a concept for their art collection in the home, recommends emerging and established artists, curates the collection and can give advice on the interior setting. Through her network, she can source privately high value artworks on the secondary market.
Claire previously held leadership roles with Sotheby's Institute of Art, London where she was marketing director for eight years. She has worked with management consulting firms in communications roles at McKinsey & Company in Germany, EY and Accenture in London, and Countrywide Communications in Brussels. Claire has an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby's Institute of Art and a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages (French & German language & literature).

McCaslin Art Advisory does not have a physical art gallery. We offer personalised art advisory services and can schedule private viewings of artworks in galleries and at art fairs. Very often, we provide high quality images of artworks, and a decision is based on the image. We keep a large database of artworks that have all been vetted and in most cases viewed by us.
We work closely with our clients to understand their preferences, taste, and budget. Based on this, we curate a selection of artworks from established and emerging artists that align with your vision.
Yes, we work with experienced framers and installers to ensure that artworks are presented in the best possible way. We can also advise on lighting and other display considerations.
We work in a very consultative way, and discuss everything at every stage of the process. It is very unlikely that you will not be satisfied with an artwork. Should that happen, we will do our very best to replace the artwork with another work of art.
