McCaslin Art Advisory was established by Claire McCaslin-Brown in 2016 in London to provide a truly bespoke service for art collectors & investors worldwide. Her vision is to provide access to the art world for collectors and those new to collecting art.
As an independent art adviser, she works with clients in London, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the US and has a network of art specialists which covers many aspects of the market including professionals working in logistics, art storage, art law, insurance, all aspects of due diligence, galleries, dealers & auction houses, art journalists, writers, independent art consultants.
She has previously worked with blue-chip consulting companies in marketing & strategic communications & cross-cultural communications roles at McKinsey & Company, Accenture, & EY. Claire has an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute Art and a BA (hons) in Modern Languages. Her areas of specialisation are German & European Contemporary & Modern Art.
John provides technical services to the art world, and is a recognised authority on international business and corporate restructuring. He is advisor to the boards of companies in the UK, France and the US, and Senior Advisor for Art and Culture for Business in the Community. John is an Advisor to McCaslin Art Advisory and a collector of fine art. His areas of knowledge are French impressionism and American contemporary art.
